Women’s Self-Defense Class Offered

We are pleased to announce that the Rochester Police Department now offers a women’s self-defense course. Sessions are usually held at local schools in four 3-hour sessions. We will post the 2007 dates of the next R.A.D. course in the near future.

The Rape Aggression Defense classes (R.A.D.) are taught only to women by certified instructors. This course is for women of all physical abilities and allows students to use their skills in a controlled environment.
