Thank you for your interest in the Rochester Police Department.

All full and part time hiring for our department is done from an entrance exam which is held about every two years.

The last entrance exam was held on January 14, 2012. All hiring will be from the list generated by that test.

The next exam will be held sometime in early 2014, and will be advertised on this website, as well as in the local media.
